Current Professional Projects

 Orion Institute and Observatory

·         Directing the Institute’s Science and Spirituality project. The project’s components include courses for life-long learning programs, public presentation, adult education, and regular college curriculum as well as the development of conferences and seminars, edited proceedings, and books for both peer and popular audiences. 

·         Scheduled courses for 2006-2007: Science and Spirituality in America, Science and the Human Spirit, and Comparative Religions and Worldviews: Maps of Reality.

Collins Family Foundation

·         Directing the foundation’s Cultural Evolution in Business Project. The project includes the development of exploratory workshops, conferences, publications, and applications training.

• Co-organizer and retreat coordinator: Evolutionary Conference – Evolutionary Directionality, Emergent Complexity, and the Future of Humanity: A Synergistic Salon. The conference was a joint project of the Orion Institute and The Great Story Project.
• Conference coordinator: Cosmic Evolution and Big History Conference.

• Human resources coordination for the Student World Assembly (SWA).  SWA is a global democratic forum for students around the globe communicating through Internet, local campus chapters, and a yearly, in-person, international convention.
